Sir Nicholas Bonsor Position: Chairman of the Board, Director Sir Nicholas was a member of British Parliament from 1979 to 1997 where he specialised in foreign affairs and defence, and was chairman of the Defence Select Committee from 1992 to 1995 and Minister of State at the Foreign Office from 1995 to 1997. Sir Nicholas is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of TomCo Energy plc, Non-Executive Chairman of Metallon plc, Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of London Mining plc and has been Chairman of Egerton International Ltd since 2004. Sir Nicholas has served on the board of several other companies, including Blue Note Mining Inc. (Canada) from 2006 to 2008. He is a Deputy Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, a freeman of the City of London (1988), a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Sir Nicholas practised as a barrister specialising in regulatory and commercial law from 1967 to 1975 and from 2003 to 2010.
Paul Rankine Position: President and Chief Executive Officer, Director Email: Paul Rankine has served as the Chief Executive Officer and a director of Zambezi Nickel Ltd. from May 2005 to February 2007, a director of Stellar Diamonds plc. from August 2007 to October 2010 and a director of TomCo Energy plc from September 2011 to present, all companies listed on the London Stock Exchange's AIM. Paul holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town and an MSc in Mineral Economics from the University of Witwatersrand, is a fellow of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a member of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration Inc. in the United States.
Marion Bush Position: Chief Operating Officer, Director Email: Marion Bush graduated from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia with a BSc (Geology) in 1993 and a Postgraduate Diploma (Applied Geology) in 1994. She graduated from the Imperial College in London, UK with an MSc (Mineral Project Appraisal) in 1998. Marion has experience in commercial management, analyst and marketing roles. Most recently she worked as an analyst for Zamin Advisors Ltd. and as a consultant with Digby Advisors Ltd.
James T. Gillis Position: Director Email: Involved in the mining industry since 1982, Mr. Gillis brings Cassidy extensive experience and expertise in business administration and mineral exploration. Mr. Gillis has been the President of James T. Gillis Management Co. Inc. since 1985, a private company which provides management services to public companies. He is the President and CEO of Advance Gold Corp., and Anglo Aluminum Corp., a Director of Audiotech Healthcare Corp., and a Director of Clemson Resources Corp.
William (Bill) Shaw Position: Chief Geologist Email: Mr. Shaw graduated from Glasgow University with a BSc Honours (Geology) in 1982 and has spent 18 years with De Beers and its subsidiaries working in diamond prospecting and mine geology in remote locations in Namibia, Botswana and Guinea. In the late 1990's, he spent 3 years managing De Beers' kimberlite prospecting project based out of Kankan, Guinea, systematically applying advanced exploration techniques and software to identify primary diamond sources in the remote rainforests of south-eastern Guinea.
Christopher J. Wild, P.Eng. Position: Director Email: Geological Engineer with over twenty years of experience in mining and mineral exploration in North and South America and Africa. Mr. Wild is a Director and V.P. Exploration and Chief Operating Officer of Anglo Aluminum Corp., a Director of Advance Gold Corp., and a Director of Rockgate Capital Corp. Prior to becoming chief mine geologist for the Mount Polley Mine near Likely, BC, he was employed as chief mine geologist at the Goldstream Mine, north of Revelstoke, BC.
